Vive le Quebec!

Here's a bit of catch up from the road...

We ended up spending an extra day on Friday in Montreal. Such a beautiful city. Just wanted to take in as many sights as we could! And, of course we had an amazing tour guide in Erika!

One of the "reality checks" that we had to do was to get fitted for our tuxes for the wedding. A big shout out to Dario from Moore's who took care of us!

While Jer and Erika enjoyed their last dinner for a while, Steve and I met up with friends Mardy and Thierri for a great meal and really good conversation. We went back to The Keg to have a quick nightcap with Mike and Hans and some of the Montreal Keg managers. Some more conversations, and some nice wine lead quickly to a late night... but well worth it!!

On Saturday, a final goodbye for Erika and Jer, and then we pushed off. Back to business. We have pushed hard the last three days to catch back after our extra day off. Although each day has been about 170 km, we are planning to cut that back today. The weather has been good, and we have caught some tailwinds along the way which has been great. That being said, Steve and I are fighting some allergies or are battling colds of some sort. Still have good energy though!

The plan is to get to Edmunston NB today. It's Jer's birthday, so we are thinking about just hanging out later to celebrate. We'll see what happens!

Thanks to all those that have crossed our paths in Quebec... what a province! Knowing more French could have helped, but people have sure been great!

We're back to being 3 boys, 3 bikes, and the open road. Get ready Halifax, here we come!

Cheers,

The boys

Sorry to hear that Adrian & Steve are under the weather...I hope it's just allergies and you boys are not coming down with something worse than allergies. Cycling is difficult when you can't breathe. Take of each other & happy belated birthday Jeremy!

Awesome job boys, this is our first comment but rest assured we are watching your progress on a daily basis!. Warms our hearts that just a few short months ago you guys came to our offices and we gave you the 411 on bikes and saddle sores and now you're seasoned vets. A few questions that have peaked our curiousity. Now that you guys have thousands of kilometers in your legs how do you feel physically?, gained muscle?, lost weight?, what's the diet like on the road?, tell us all about the pain!.
